Ainavisks un salīdzinoši vientuļš kalnu serpentīns, pa kuru pat pašā tūrisma sezonas karstumā nepārvietojas sevišķi daudz mašīnu un līdz ar to arī pats brauciens ir izbaudīšanas vērts.
Kalnu ciematu “pērļu” vidū minams arī Mougins – šarmants ziedos, priedēs, olīvkokos un cipresēs ieaugdzis viduslaiku ciematiņš, kura raksturzīmēm pieder simtgadīgie koki, kas galvenajā skvērā aug cauri restorānu terasēm, tādējādi kārtējo reizi norādot uz patieso lietu kārtību šajā pasaulē.Mouginsatrodas vien 15 minūšu brauciena attālumā no Kannām (un apmēram tikpat no Grāsas), 260 metrus augstā kalnā. Savukārt glamūrākā Franču Rivjēras kalnu ciematiņa statuss nenoliedzami pieder starp Nicu un Monako karalisti augstu klintī esošajam, ērgļa ligzdai līdzīgajam Èze, kas tiek dēvēts arī par ciematu-muzeju un nenoliedzami “villages perches” virtenē ir vistūristiskākais. Taču arī šis apstāklis tam nespēj laupīt burvību. Èze atrodas 400 metrus virs jūras līmeņa un Vidusjūras panorāmai, kas paveras no šī skatu punkta, visā Franču Rivjēras apkaimē nav līdzvērtīgas. Tiesa, lai izbaudītu šīs vietas burvību, nebūt nav še jānakšņo - Chateau de la Chevre d'Or ir vienkārši brīnišķīgs terases restorāns, kas ļaus izbaudīt Provansas virtuvi un leģendāro rosé uz skatuves, kas vienlīdz piestāvētu gan Marijai Kallasai, gan Annai Ņetrebko, gan īsteni Vāgneriskām kaislībām.
